This is the Sterling by Musicman Stingray Short Scale  and it is the first model in this brand that comes with a 30" scale neck. This makes playing this instrument really easy. It's the best choice for those with small hands or simply for those who prefer a smaller instrument. It plays like a dream and it sounds big.

We love the mahogany body and roasted maple neck and palisander fingerboard. Also this new Toluca Lake Blue finish is really cool.

A single humbucker pickup is located at the traditional "sweet spot". You get 3 modes that can be selected via the 3 way switch: Parallel (classic Music Man sound), Series (thicker and hotter, perfect for rock) as well as Single Coil. If that's not enough you also get a Tone Control to get a deeper and more vintage type of sound.
