This model offers really traditional sounds in a modern building bass (24 fret neck and special 34,5" scale). It sounds great in passive mode, and the active mode doesn't draw any tone. You can switch between Single Coil or humbucking operation, and we must say this is one of the few basses that actually sounds great in both modes. The 3 band EQ is boost only and must be amont the most musical EQ's we've ever heard.
The neck shape is rather special with a narrow nut and then getting wider until it reaches the 19mm spacing bridge. We love this combination and we wonder why other builders don't go this way.
To sum up: a top notch American made bass that plays and sounds like a dream and can be yours for very little money.
