Here's a new Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass.
Without a doubt, this is one of the most elegant designs to come out of the Fender factory.
Although primarly a Jazz Bass, this bass also borrows from the Precision Bass (split pickup) and even the Strat guitar (output jack). The slim countoured body is also quite lightweight, so you get a bass that not only looks great, but also plays and sounds amazing.
The split coil produces a distinctive midrange snarl, and the bridge Jazz pickup is punchy and slightly aggressive. Blend the two and you get a monster sound with lots of detail, dynamics and depth.
