The Fender Deluxe Zone Bass V is built with a mixture of traditional and modern features.
What you get is a bass with a classic Fender J style 5 string neck with 5 in line machine heads, slightly downsized body, P/J pickups and active electronics. you can dial in a fat P sound thanks to the Alnico P type pickup, and go for an authentic Jazz Bass growl switching to the bridge Noiseless J Bass style pickup. The oinboard 3 band EQ can make subtle changes to the sound if you so wich, but you can also get an extreme sound if that's what you're looking for.
