Yamaha Billy Sheehan Attitude Special in beautiful Red Finish.

Billy Sheehan is an iconic bass player that came from the hair metal virtuoso world and has always managed to stay relevant. Over 5 decades of performing has garnered a huge fan base.   From Talas to Niacin, from David Lee Roth to his work with Tony MacAlpine, Portnoy, Morse, and many others, Sheehan is a god amoung metal Bass players. 

The Attitude Special features a solid Alder body mated to a maple neck with large band-aid fret markers in blue. 

These low ohm original YBW-IC1 and YBS-FSPCX1 Yamaha pickups are clear and clean with excellent mid punch and a rumbly low end.  Control layout V1 - neck volume, T1 tone, V2-bridge volume.   The tuners are very smooth and easy to turn.

There's a single output and this is far more convenient that the two outputs (one per pickup) that you find in the top of the line Attitude Limited.

Very Good condition for a 30+ year old instrument. Great playability and so much tone. Of course there are some dings here and there but none of them are relevant.
