Here's a truly special bass.

This is a 1984 Fender Jazz Bass Special Fretless made in Japan, meaning top quality as you know.

However there are a number of appointments that make this a really unique bass. Please note:

- There's a set of USA Seymour Duncan Basslines for a perfect traditional Fender sound with no issues at all.

- Electronics by John East preamp (U.K.) which adds impressive EQ possibilities and improves the signal from the pickups. It also comes with Passive Tone and you operate the bass in active or passive modes.

- A gorgeous figured lacewood top makes a huge difference in terms of aesthetics. Also this makes it incredibly exclusive. There's just no other Fender like this out there.

- The hard rosewood fingerboard has been trued by our luthier so now it plays better than ever and you can get as much "mwah" as you need. There's just zero wear on the fingerboard so it's 100% like a new bass and has many years ahead of life.

- Straplocks installed.

We love the fact that this is a fairly lightweight bass with good balance.

Playability is also excellent.

The dots on the side of the fingerboard will help you play in tune effortlessly.

To sum up, a top quality bass that is just gorgeous, plays like a dream, sounds really great and is absolutely exclusive. Grab it while you can. 

Of course this is a used bass but it's never been played. There are only a few dings (really small) at the body and the headstock. We can send additional pictures if you need them but these are really not important. The neck and fingerboard are exactly like those on a new bass so you will receive a bass from 1984 that plays like a new bass and doesn't need to be serviced by a luthier at all. Total plug and play.
