Felipe is a luthier from our hometown Burgos who splits his working schedule between repairs/set ups and instrument building with a unique approach.

This model is a completely orginal design and it is called Ivanov Bass. It features a 3 piece sapeli/maple/sapeli that is incredibly stable with a two way truss rod.

Scale length is 33" and nut width is 42mm wide, just like a good old Precision Bass. 

The special design headstock allows the string to travel in a straight line from the brass nut.

Three ceramic Single coil pickups are used along with passive electronics. Controls are Volume x3 + Passive Tone. Lots of great sounds in a very easy to use layout. 

The high mass bridge is perfect for transmitting the strings vibrations into the body.

The finish is really nice and lets the natural beauty and feel of natural wood shine. There are some minor imperfections in specific areas of the finish but this is totally normal on a 100% handmade bass.

To sum up: an orginal handmade bass that looks amazing, plays great and sounds full and rich.

Please note: this is a NEW bass but it has some minor dents here and there from having been at the exhibition, hence the discount. Nothing really important. We can send additional pictures if needed. Great value for money
