  • Felipe Luthier Rickman 4 Passive Relic

Felipe is a luthier from our hometown Burgos who splits his working schedule between repairs/set ups and instrument building with a unique approach.

This model is a completely orginal design and as you can see it is based on two iconic basses.

The body is semihollow and this grants lightweight and resonance.

It features a Iroko neck that is incredibly stable.

Scale length is 34" and the bone nut width is just 35mm so it is incredible fast and easy to play.

A passive humbucker pickup is used along with passive electronics. There's a very strong signal from the pickup and a lot of punch too. Felipe chose to slant the pickup to emphasize the attack in the treble strings as well as get more lows from the bass strings.

The high mass bridge is perfect for transmitting the strings vibrations into the body.

The light relic finish is applied both on wood and headeare, making for a unique look on this unique bass.

To sum up: an orginal handmade bass that looks amazing, plays great and sounds full and rich.
