While it is true that Gibson have always had more recognition among guitar players, they have come out with original and interesting basses for decades.
This is the SG Bass or EB-3 Bass and it is clearly based on its cousin, the Gibson SG Guitar. Two humbuckers are used to offer a full bodied sound. The neck pickup is incredibly deep sounding (without getting too muddy) and the bridge pickup is almost the opposite, with extra bite and attack. The combination of both makes up for an all round sound that can be used in lots of music styles. Both fingerstyle and pick sound great on this bass.
This is a used instrument that is in excellent condition with just a few small dings here and there. It comes with a hardcase and has fresh strings installed. Set up made at the shop by us so you get it in perfec playing condition.
