Anthony Jackson is one ofthe most important bassplayers from our time, no doubt about that. With a life long career full of excellent basslines. His credits as a bassplayer are top notch.
Jackson has been involved with Fodera Guitars from 3 decades now. His privileged ear has made him push the envelope when it comes to bass design. Not any bass is good enough for Jackson. He only trusts Fodera guitars for his instruments.
This particular bass is one of the first designs that Fodera guitars made for him and sports a wide neck (20mm spacing) but instead of the modern extra long 36" scale, this one is 34". This makes it extra comfortable, and we are happy to report that the Low B sounds just great.
Talking about string response, this is probably the most balanced 6 string bass we've ever tried in terms of string to string sound. Also the high C sounds remarkably like the rest and this is not something you find easily on a 6.
Bartolini pickups and electronics are used. You get that hard to find high end type of bass sound that so many players desperately try to find.
No matter what technique you use, this bass always delivers.
This is obviously a used bass that shows some wear but everything works perfectly. This is a great chance to buy an exceptional bass for a great price.
