The L in this model stands for "Lightweight" so you know what you are getting. This is achieved by using a 2 piece body that is chambered and then an exotic top is used to cover it.
The ultra low weight is just the beginning. The bass of course also sounds and plays great. We chose a set of Delano JSBC Single Coil pickups in order to achieve a great sound with enough versatility to cover almost any situation. As you can see in the picture, there are actually 3 pickups, working in a 1 + 2 manner. The two pickups located closer to the bridge can actually work as a humbucker (you choose Series or Paralell with a switch) as well as being able to select the bridge pickup alone. This translates into a lot of great useable tones.
The Flamed maple top in transparent black and and matching headstock complete this really nice package.
The neck is really comfortable to play. We have 24 very well dressed frets plus the usual zero fret to improve open string performance and avoid intonation issues.
To sum up: if you are looking for a lightweight, great sounding powerful and versatile bass that won't break your wallet, this is it. Hard (or impossible) to find a bass with these features, comfort and sound bellow 2000€.
