This is one of the best boosters ever made for bass. It is ideal to add some more volume and presence for solos and certain parts of the song. The EQ has a great range so you can alter the tone of your instrument significantly too or use it just as a EQ pedal. The Gain control gets intro a nice overdrive when pushed. Lots of great sounds from this little unit that's true bypass and won't alter the natural tone of your bass when it is not being used.
