This is a big doublebass with a big sound. The full size body and 4/4 scale are responsible for that. Handmade in the German Music town of Markneukirchen (centuries of bowed instrument construction).

We just got it back from our luthier and it sounds and plays like a dream. The ebony fingerboard was rectified for perfect performance, there's a new brige and also new strings. It sounds big and bold, with good definition too. Perfect cor Classical as well as Jazz, Country, Latin, Folk, Rockabilly, etc.
