This is the affordable version of Gerald Veasley's bass. It is obviously based on an Ibanez Sound Gear but with a big difference: string spacing is just 14mm as opposed to the standard for Ibanez 16.5mm.
Gerald is not a short guy and has big hands but he prefers a narrow neck for chrod work. Sure, the first time that you play it it feels narrow, but all you need to do it play it for a while and you will see it makes sense. Even slapping is possible after a little practice, and scales and arpeggios are a breeze.
Two Bartolini Mk1 pickups and 3 band electronics provide you with a lot of useable sounds.
