The Blacktop has been designed to offer differnt takes on classic instruments with excellent quality and really nice price. This is a Jazz Bass (narrow neck) but insteadof the standard pickups, Fender have chosen two Split pickups. This means you have a Jazz Bass with a 100% Precision Bass sound and the added bonus of the bridge split coil that sounds punchy and blends nicely with the front pickup.
