hisbass has been handmade by Bulgarian luthier Kostadin Dimitrov. He makes wonderful instruments and we've sold some of them in the past. With this new J Series model Kostadin wanted to release a really affordable bass while keeping the same quality. The result is a more stripped down (but still very nice) bass that has been made from excellent tonewoods, hardware and electronics.
