It comes with the new and improved Mike Pope preamp, which is more musical and quiet than the previous version. The mid selector switch is really handy, allowing you to boost the low mids (works great when you solo the bridge pickup) or cut the high mids (killer slap tone with both pickups on and slight bass boost, even on this bass with 26 frets!!). Factory tuned EADGC with a Hipshot D-Tuner and 2 frets for extended range in a very comfortable neck. A trully wonderful bass for a lifetime.
