This a Warwick Corvette Proline 6 model, which means that the entire ody is made from 2 pieces of flamed maple, not just the top.
The neck is made from Ovangkol and has the trademark Warwick natural wood feel.
In order to bring out all the nuances of the 6 strings, a set of passive MEC soapbars are used, along with an active/passive 2 band preamp. The combination of the maple body, two piece tailpiece/bridge unit and electronics make this a very responsive and "alive" bass, with excellent note separation for chord work, as well as single lines.
