Two Alembic AXY humbuckers caputure all the nuances of this instrument. Controls are: Volume, Balance and two Filter controls plus two Q switches: in one position you get a traditional passive tone kind of sound, and in the other a more extreme EQ, allowing you to dial in exactly the tone you want. Alembics are still used today in recording studios worldwide because of their clean and classy sound, and this bass is a good example why alembic has stood the test of time.
