Here's a very affordable fretless bass that is quite surprising.
Instead of making a cheap bass with complex (but not good) electronics, Washburn decided to use two single coil pickups and keep it all passive (controls are 2 Volume and 2 Tone pots).
This package effectively captures classic tones, and proves to be especially good for flamenco or Jaco lines, thanks to the incisive bridge pickup.
Construction is Neck Through, so you can expect excellent sustain from this bass.
