We love the Rockbass series by Warwick. When Warwick decided they wanted to release a budget series, they chose a small shop in China (instead of the huge plant where most brands source their Far East instruments) with a long tradition of instrument making, and decided to incorporate the same MEC pickup and electronics as their German basses. It is hard to believe how good these basses sound for the price.
