This 5 string is a good example. the. bolt on neck extends up to the rear pickup so you get the attack of a bola on and the sustain of a neck thru, in this case in the lightest 5 string we have in the shop. Delano pickups have become standard for most German builders as an alternative to hard to find Bartolini’s. These produce a slightly more aggressive tone than Bart’s. Slap tone is to die for, but the same you get a great Jaco sound from the bridge pickup. Note: the amazing player Decebal Badila plays Human Base instruments
