Fender have released a very limited edition of the 50th Anniversary Jazz Bass and we think it might be the best Jazz Bass ever!!

O.K. so it is a bold claim, but we stand by it.
Instead of recreating a Jazz Bass from 1960, Fender have decided to come up with a Jazz Bass that actually includes the most accepted improvements and refinements that this 50 year old design has gone through. Taking a look at the specs, it is easy to spot from what era do these improvements come:
FROM THE 60′S:
- Nitrocellulose lacquer finish
- Headstock logo
- CAR (Candy Apple Red) colour, w/matching headstock
FROM THE 70′S:
- ‘75 Vintage Jazz Bass pickups
- Pickup locations
- Placing of the thumb rest
FROM THE 00′S:
- HMV (High Mass Vintage) bridge with strings through the body option
- Posiflex graphite rods in the neck for stability
- Vintage style lightweight Hipshot keys
